The Brazilian Artists Association was founded in 2016 in the United Kingdom to strengthen the category of artisans and artists living in the United Kingdom.
The Association is open to all lovers of art, regardless of nationality and is a non-profit association and is financially supported through donations by local entrepreneurs and events promoted by it and has been became a reference point for art by the Brazilian and Portuguese communities in the United Kingdom and Europe.
In order to strengthen the Brazilian artistic category abroad, A.B.A creates opportunities for its members to interact with the multiracial audience and multicultural, admirers of the most varied forms of Brazilian art. A.B.A through its registered artists, offers the Portuguese speaking community, workshops on: canvas painting, fabrics, flower arrangements, singing, capoeira, dancing folk, organic candles, artistic cakes, graffiti, porcelain, sculpture, literature, dramaturgy, cooking, sewing, crochet, knitting, embroidery, among others, and fairs, fashion shows, educational lectures, music contest, carnival folklore parties, Christmas, arts and crafts exhibitions.
Annually, A.B.A has been invited to attend events such: Annual Brazilian Art Show at the Carousel du Louvre in Paris, Milano Latin Festival in Assago, Italy, Literary Week in Turin, Italy, Fair Craft International in Milan, Italy, Focus Brazil in London (UK) and Milan (IT), Artisan Fair in Porto, Portugal, Expo Art in Vienna, Austria.
